Take advantage of the downhill drive from the elevated tees to gain distance in this par 5 hole where the green is tucked away on the right and protected by a large pond. Long hitters trying for two on the green should aim left but must contend with two fairway bunkers located there. The target for the second lay-up shot is most vital and the ball should land on the left side of the fairway. A tall palm tree near the pond effectively protects the green if the ball is anywhere from 130 yards away so it is best to go level or past it for a simple chip onto the green. The 3-level green has a bunker guarding the front but putting shouldn’t pose much of a problem. A scoring hole for many but could prove disastrous if the ball winds up wet.
