A long carry over a drain that feeds into the pond on the left is necessary from the tee. Short hitters are advised to lay up before the drain with a mid to long iron and then attack the green on the left in this dogleg left hole. The green is reachable from the tee only for the super long hitters but entering the water hazard is likely for the slightest mishits – and that is a deterent for most. Water lines the left side of the green and bunkers await at the front and right. The best approach is from the large landing zone after carrying the drain. All that is left will be a very short iron or wedge to the elevated green. Water runs all along the left side of the elevated green which also has 2 small bunkers guarding the right. The gently undulations should not pose much of a problem with the putter. A good scoring hole for those who successfully avoid being wet.
